Ladies (and some gentlemen) strapped on what they hoped would be the most comfortable “hiking” heels Saturday, July 2, for Sarasota’s first 1 kilometer High Heel Hike to benefit autism. The hike partnered with Suncoast Charities for Children and raised $12,687 in donations. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the men wore their favorite pair of sneakers.
