The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office conducted 23 boat inspections as part of Operation Dry Water, from Friday, June 28, to Sunday, June 30, resulting in one boating under the influence arrest.
Marine deputies also issued seven warnings and three boating citations during the national boating under the influence awareness campaign. And officers arrested two teenagers for underage possession of alcohol Saturday, June 29, according to a news release.
Marine deputies will increase patrols during the Fourth of July weekend, according to the release.
