Kiki Steinberg’s first client noticed results within three months.
The owner of The Florida Laser and Wellness Center entered the hair restoration business because she thought people needed another FDA-approved alternative to surgery or drugs.
After researching every hair restoration laser available on the market, she found the Halo Elite, which uses photomedicine to provide Foli-Cure Therapy — the most advanced therapeutic protocol for laser hair restoration. This therapy has been proven to stimulate cellular metabolism while dramatically increasing blood supply to targeted areas, a necessary combination that heals and restores damaged hair follicle cells.
“The laser blocks the production of DTH and penetrates the bulb of the hair follicle to regenerate the natural hair,” Steinberg said. “More than 3,500 scientific studies of laser phototherapy document the effectiveness of laser therapy.”
Steinberg determines candidate for hair restoration through a complimentary consultation, using a digital microscope to find out if they have dormant or dead hair follicles.
“We can help if they have dormant follicles,” Steinberg said. “The key is early intervention — catching it in the 30s, 40s and 50s.”
Treatment times are 12-and-a-half minutes long and pain free. Clients grab a cup of coffee and a magazine, and sit under what looks identical to an old-fashioned salon hairdryer. The laser, which has an internal cooling mechanism, penetrates the entire scalp.
“It’s a yearlong protocol — twice a week for six months and then once a week for six months,” Steinberg said. “It’s amazing to see the people and to see their improvement.”
