Vendors at the Sarasota Farmers Market have teamed up to sell raffle tickets through Saturday, June 29, to benefit the betterment of the market.
Customers can purchase a $10 raffle ticket through 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, when the winners will be announced at the Shrimp and Lobster Festival.
People who purchase tickets have a chance at winning an electric bike valued at $2,175, a cruise valued at $1,500 or one of three farmers market baskets valued at $250. The funds raised from the raffle will go towards cooling fans and stations for the summer, additional tents, tables and chairs.
The funds will also support local musicians who play for the crowd at the market every week. The Sarasota Farmers Market has a way to go to reach their goal of selling 1,000 tickets since they have only sold 300 up to this point.
Customers can purchase tickets from vendors at the market, at the merchandise booth, by calling 225 9256 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
