Forty Carrots Family Center will welcome its new executive director, Michelle Kapreilian, to its staff Saturday, June 1.
Kapreilian brings a decade of first-hand experience to the table through her extensive volunteer efforts at Forty Carrots. Her first experience was as a parent in the Parenting Program. Since then, she has served as a trustee; board secretary; and chairwoman of the Governance Committee. The board unanimously supported her nomination and is ready for her arrival.
Kapreilian was once at the helm of a multimillion-dollar international business and spent another decade as a co-owner and CEO of several local businesses.
Jennifer Abbott, who had stepped for the past three months as the interim executive director during the board's search, will resume her position as development director under Kapreilian's leadership.
