SARASOTA — Fourth of July fireworks will return to Siesta Key this year.
The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce announced that it has begun planning for the annual tradition and is selling VIP ticket packages.
For more than two decades, the chamber has planned and hosted the fireworks show, which draws thousands of people every year.
No taxpayer dollars go toward the event, so it runs directly off of donations and VIP ticket sales.
The $150 VIP package includes reserved on-site parking, picnic dinner, beverages, live music and a preferred viewing area.
