Sarasota County plans to renovate lighting around four fields, the pedestrian walkway and parking lot at the17th Street Softball Complex, according to a bid solicitation posted Friday, April 12.
Contractors have through May 15, to submit bids to add at least 15 LED light and 24 metal halide fixtures to existing poles and upgrade electrical conduits. The closed bid solicitation doesn’t list an engineer’s estimate for the work.
Sarasota County commissioners set ball field maintenance as a goal for 2013, during a retreat with administrative staff last year.
