Hundreds of chic South Beach style outdoor lounge furniture will roll out this Saturday for the fourth annual Chillounge Night in Sarasota, transforming historic Palm Avenue into a posh nightclub.
Sarasota resident Rainer Scheer founded the event three years ago.
The glamorous al fresco setting will feature an evening of fabulous cuisine, beverages and entertainment for the hip and social crowd from 6-11 p.m. Don’t miss the Brazilian Samba Parade, runway fashion show or live performances.
Admission is $25 per person for ages 21 and older. VIP cost $100 and include complimentary food and beverages, in addition to a cigar from the cigar lounge area, served in an exclusive VIP section. Proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy.

Sarasota resident Sol Carson celebrated his 100th birthday Aug. 15, at the Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Sarasota Inc. The birthday party included cake, singing and family. Carson, a South Philadelphia native, lives in Sarasota with his son, Charles.
