With redesigned guest rooms, a new restaurant, dance lounge and “Osprey Beach,” the motel formerly known as the Ramada Inn and Osprey Inn has undergone a complete transformation.
Bentley’s Resort, at 1660 South Tamiami Trail in Osprey, holds its grand opening this weekend.
Co-owner Paul Martin said he’s converted what was a two-star motel into a four-star hotel.
The guest rooms have been remodeled. Second floor room now each have individual balconies. First-floor rooms open up on the sand of Osprey Beach — the redesigned pool area, which is the resort’s signature.
Osprey Beach has a new tiki bar, wooden pool deck and actual sand.
The lobby has also been remodeled, and with its sleek leather furniture and contemporary art on the walls, it looks more like a boutique hotel.
Bentley’s Resort will be holding a grand opening celebration all weekend.
