Sarasota County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public help in locating a home-invasion suspect.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. yesterday at the Phillippi Shores Village apartments, 1860 Phillippi Shores Drive.
The victims say they let an acquaintance in their apartment, and he pulled out a gun and demanded money and prescription drugs.
He is described as a white male with brown hair, about 25 years old, 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 861-4900 or leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers at 366-TIPS.
