After receiving some criticism about its two previous designs, the architect of the Palm Avenue parking garage created two new designs that were met with applause.
Jonathan Parks Architect presented those two new drawings at the third and last public workshop to review the parking garage facades.
The new designs are more modern. One is basically windowless above the first floor and is covered with what appear to be curved sails. And the other incorporates bright colors inside a framed exterior.
City commissioners are expected to vote on the design they like the best at their Feb. 16 meeting.
Construction is set to begin April 1 and be complete by December.
