- Suzette and others - please read the SCRG letter to the editor discussing the millions that Sarasota Citizens for Responsible Government has saved taxpayers. Our involvement in local government has saved this community much more that it has cost.

- These citizen's groups need to follow their own battle-cry. They say they want responsible government and question how the county has budgeted the citizens tax dollars - yet they don't see themselves guilty of irresponsibility with taxpayers money (to the tune of $19K+ dollars of legal costs). Who do they think ends up paying this bill? Anytime you try to sue someone, you MUST consider that you might lose! Geez, people - look in the mirror and stop throwing stones.
