Selby Gardens teaches kids to play with their food

Selby Gardens “Gardening Fun” campers first drew a circle, marked the “crust” with bricks, and sectioned the inside off into perfect pizza slices. On Wednesday, June 9, they planted their pizza toppings — garlic, basil, peppers, parsley and oregano, and will continue to water and care for them throughout camp sessions. On June 10, campers will add tomatoes to the mix, which will complete their garden.
