A man drove his car into a Sarasota bar Monday night after getting into an argument with the owner of the bar.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office released information Tuesday revealing that Sean Kilduff, 40, left Stragglers bar at 5580 Swift Road, Sarasota, after getting into a fight with bar owner James Wilbert.
Kilduff proceeded to get into a car and ram the building Monday at 6:30 p.m. When Wilbert used a gun he keeps on the premises to shoot at Kilduff, Kilduff attempted to run over him and another bar patron.
A Criminal Investigations unit responded and arrested Kilduff for aggravated assault and criminal mischief. No injuries resulting in medical treatment were reported during the incident.
