There's a new fresh air farmers market in town catering to Sarasota's central residents.
The first Central Sarasota Farmers Market will take place tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the south parking lot of SCTI, 4748 S. Beneva Road.
Tomorrow's market will feature 10 vendors, food trucks and live music. Leashed pets are welcome.
For the inaguaral market, attendees can expect to find vendors selling baked goods, plants and orchids, olive oil and breads, fresh produce, natural bath care, soy candles and more. There will also be special offers tomorrow.
The market location offers plenty of parking and will take place every Saturday, yearround.
The Central Sarasota Farmers Market is seeking additional vendors as it moves toward expansion. Those interested should visit the website www.centralsarasotafarmersmarket.com.
More information is also available on the nonprofit's Facebook page.
