This takes the cake
10:30 a.m. — 5400 block of Bay Shore Road. Theft. While a woman’s daughter and brand new son-in-law were celebrating their vows by cutting their wedding cake, a low-life thief was busy swiping the woman’s antique purse. The $2,400 Judith Leiber handbag was covered with precious stones on the handle and rhinestones on the body. Another purse belonging to a wedding guest was stolen and recovered at a woman’s home in central Florida. The bride’s mother suspects that woman took her purse as well.
