Sixty teams and more than 1,000 competitors took to the Sarasota Polo Club for the U.S.A. Ultimate Frisbee Club Championships Thursday, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 28. Teams from all over the country competed for four days on 24 fields.

Children and their families had a chance to try on their costumes a few days early Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Children’s Garden. Families brought canned goods to be donated to All Faiths Food Bank in exchange for a chance to tour the gardens in costume and trick or treat.

Fans of art and whimsy gathered at the Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy Friday, Oct. 26 to celebrate the museum’s grand reopening as it heads into its third season. Guests got in the spirit by dressing in whimsical attire, including wigs and accessories, and they enjoyed drinks and appetizers as well as live music, performed by Jimi Gee.

The Temple Sinai Gan Preschool hosted a Simchat Torah Parade Friday, Oct. 5. The students marched behind the Torah from their classrooms, outside to the sukkah, where they waved flags and celebrated before heading back inside to learn about the Torah and sing songs.
