The Sarasota Culture Collective kicks-off with a celebration and cocktail reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Sarasota Opera House. It will include performances by Sarasota Opera artists and Sarasota Ballet dancers; drinks and appetizers; and a DJ. It’s free for members.
If you haven't yet heard of the Sarasota Culture Collective, it’s a neat arts subscription series that gives members ages 21 to 40 two tickets to seven performances and events at some of the finest arts venues in the area — all for the mere price of $80. The venues participating aren't making any profit on it; the mission is to spread a little culture and inspire attendance for younger audience members.

If you haven’t purchased a membership visit here or call 351-8000. Word to the wise: the membership is just $80 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 and that includes a ticket to the kick-off party. After that, it’s $99. And even if you don’t fit the age range, it makes a great gift.
