Inspiration: “I like to get up close and personal to the flowers, which is of course, very similar to Georgia O’Keeffe; she wanted to get up close and personal and force you to look at it. I like to get up close because when I did, I was just amazed at the complexities and the uniqueness of each flower… Hopefully, you can feel that it is alive. Sometimes when flowers are on paper or as photographs they are very beautiful, but you can’t feel the twinkle. I hope you can feel the twinkle.”

… Well, we already knew that, right? Now apparently all of New York knows how wonderful our slice of paradise is, too.
