How long ago did you start playing?
“I started playing when I moved here in 2001.”
How was today’s game?
“Today’s game was great. My partner and I were playing ‘thinking tennis’ and doing a good job of setting up each other’s shots.”
Did you warm up before playing today?
“It’s funny because we always warm up, but today was the one day we didn’t. We’re getting ready for a regional tournament, and we didn’t have much time today because we wanted to get started right away.”
What did you eat before the game?
“I had multigrain cereal with fresh fruit and some granola sprinkled on top. I also had half of a scone that my husband made, which was delicious.”
What was your best shot/move/play today?
“I had a great backhand shot.”
Will you do anything different the next time you play?
“Hopefully I’ll play better and try to really stay focused.”
