Youngsters from the Bradenton Learning Center were special guests at a Christmas party Dec. 17, at Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian. The center, for kindergarten through second-grade students, is a special mission project of the church.
The kids presented a program with their Florida version of “Jingle Bells.” A definite highlight of the afternoon for the children was a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, aka Paul Kuell and Ginny Dreher. Each child received a gift from Santa, who gave a dozen bicycles to the older children. The party ended with a variety of holiday treats and punch.
