Sheila Zinder lights the menorah.
Temple Beth Israel members gathered Dec. 16, at the temple, for a traditional Hanukkah celebration and dinner. Beth Israel Women’s President Sheila Zinder lit the fourth candle in the menorah, which signified the fourth day of the celebration.
The bountiful buffet featured potato latkes with applesauce and brisket. Following dinner, the Vintage Wine Improv Troupe presented several skits — some invited the audience to participate.
