Barbara Lee Bendit “Bobbi” of Longboat Key, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died on Oct. 29. She was 80 years old.
Bendit was born on Sept. 11, 1931. She is survived by her husband, Erwin; a daughter, Cherie; a son, Jeff; three sisters, Dorothy, Gail and Jane; and three grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life Nov. 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Bendit Family Residence. Call or e-mail Cherie foor directions and to share a memory 726-0586 or email@example.com. A fitting tribute
A day after receiving an Ageless Creativity Award from the Ringling College/Longboat Key Center for the Arts in honor of their late father, Ed Brickman, daughter Carol Diamant and son Eli Brickman held a celebration of life service Saturday.
