Daniel Curran, of Longboat Key and formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Cincinnati, died Oct. 18. He was 81.
Mr. Curran was born June 9, 1930. Mr. Curran was an active volunteer with SPARCC for many years.
Services were held at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, in Sarasota.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ruth E.; daughters, Priscilla O’Keefe, of Destin, and Alison Parr, of Cincinnati; son, Jeffrey, of Columbus, Ohio; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
