Harriet Dorothy Hanover Glasspiegel, of Longboat Key, and formerly of Milwaukee, Wis., died Oct. 13. She was 93.
Mrs. Glasspiegel attended Goucher and Birmingham-Southern colleges. She and her late husband, Jerry, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Glasspiegel’s retirement activities included tennis, painting and volunteer work.
Mrs. Glasspiegel was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jerry, and sisters Flossie Bayer and Gladys Feldman.
Ms. Glasspiegel is survived by three sons, John, Harry and Bob; five grandchildren; and 24 nieces and nephews.
