Thomas “Tom” Halpin, 88, of Naperville, Ill., and formerly of Longboat Key, died Oct. 4.
Born Dec. 6, 1924, in East St. Louis, Ill., he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was an attorney for Northern Trust for more than 40 years.
Mr. Halpin is survived by his wife, Ann; children Thomas “Jim” Halpin Jr., Cliff Halpin, Helen Kline, Patty Benjamin and Lynda Connelly; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private Mass was held in Warrenville, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Family Centered Hospice, 2171 Executive Drive, Unit 450, Addison, Ill., 60101.
