Margie A. Kallmeyer, 85, of Longboat Key, died Aug. 28.
A longtime employee of the Michigan Bell Telephone Co., she retired in February 1980 to Longboat Key.
Mrs. Kallmeyer was a member of the Longboat Island Chapel and an avid tennis player. She played on the Tri City team for Cedars Tennis Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon LaVigne, of Orlando, and Linda Swarz and Brenda Fisher, both of Sarasota; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
