Dr. Milton Comer, of Longboat Key and formerly of Louisville, died July 7. He was 83. He was born April 6, 1929, in Louisville to Morris and Pauline Schuckman Comer.
Dr. Comer was a retired surgeon, who practiced in Louisville for many years, a surgeon with the U.S. Army and a former member of Adath Jeshurun.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gay Comer.
He is survived by sister, Jeanette Comer; sons, Evan and Joel; daughter, Julie Hoffman; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date on Longboat Key.
