Dale Elizabeth Herbst, 66, of Kansas City, Mo., died June 17. She was a former lay minister at All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church and Church of the Annunciation in Holmes Beach.
She was a graduate of Stephens College, in Columbia, Mo., and was past president of the Stephens College Dinner Club of Kansas City.
Mrs. Herbst was preceded in death by her husband, Alexis Ruiz de Villa, formerly of Bradenton Beach.
She is survived by her sons, Lance Stafford, Charles Stafford and Douglas Herbst Stafford; sister, Diane Schwartz; brother, Dean Herbst; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, June 29, in Kansas City.
