Marguerite “Peggy” Antonello, 80, of Longboat Key and Western Springs, Ill., died June 22. She was born Dec. 11, 1928.
Mrs. Antonello is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Kathleen Trachy and Jean Marie Wasz; son, Michael Antonello; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, Ill. A funeral will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, June 27, starting at the funeral home and going to St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs, Ill. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Approximately 250 people hit the water Saturday, April 20 through Sunday, April 21, for Sailfest. The regatta, Sarasota Youth Sailing's biggest fundraiser of the year, included four classes of competition — Optimus, 420, Laser and Multi-hull — and a barbecue feast. -
Book club sunsets for the season

The Sunset Beach Book Club, in its 10th year, ended this season with a luncheon and discussion of the book “Gone Girl,” by Gillian Flynn, April 18, at Lazy Lobster. Discussion moderator was Ricki Carroll. Together, the group read five books this season.
