Lynne Sklover, 94, of Sarasota and formerly of Longboat Key, died May 4.
Born Dec. 9, 1918, she was a former resident of Hewlett Harbor, N.Y., and lived in Longboat Key and Sarasota for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Sklover was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Schlein and Harold Sklover.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Schlein, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Judith Bernstein, of Israel, and Ellen Klapper, of New York City; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will take place Sunday, June 2, in Glendale, Queens County, N.Y.

A fitting tribute
A day after receiving an Ageless Creativity Award from the Ringling College/Longboat Key Center for the Arts in honor of their late father, Ed Brickman, daughter Carol Diamant and son Eli Brickman held a celebration of life service Saturday.
