An enthusiastic nature-lover, Mrs. Rosenthal was a daily fixture on the north-end beach and walked each morning to admire the birds, pick up shells and remove litter. She was also a longtime member of the Longboat Key Turtle Watch and would patrol for new nests and hatches.
Mrs. Rosenthal was preceded in death by her husband, Dick.
She is survived by three sons, Dave, Dan and Rick; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and countless loggerhead turtles.
No memorial celebration is planned. Memorial donations may be made to College of the Ozarks, P.O. Box 17, Point Lookout, Mo. 65726.
