Helene Diener, 76, of Longboat Key and formerly of Brewster, N.Y., died May 5.
Mrs. Diener was an established business owner in the Brewster community for more than 30 years and an active member and former president of the Brewster Flower Garden Club. She retired in 2008 to Longboat Key.
Mrs. Diener was preceded in death by her husband, Christian. She is survived by her daughters, Heidi Diener-Fleischer and Lisa Diener-Cristantiello.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brewster. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, mskcc.org.
