William I. Randall, of Longboat Key, died March 4. Mr. He was 96.
Mr. Randall was born Sept. 13, 1915, in Framingham, Mass., where he lived most of his life.
Mr. Randall moved in 2004 to Longboat Key. Mr. Randall had a great memory and was a terrific storyteller.
Mr. Randall was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Clare Goss Randall; three children, William, Jonathan and Eleanor; stepsons, Edward and Tysen; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
