Santa Claus could have used Rudolph’s help. When the Promenade put a lighted sleigh with a reindeer on the roof of the 10-story condominium during the second week of December, a heavy fog swept through the area, making it tough to spot from Gulf of Mexico Drive.
Maintenance workers spent a full day hauling the display up the stairs, constructing a stand to elevate it and building a rig to hold it down so that residents wouldn’t see Santa’s sleigh flying past their windows.
