Longboat Key Fire Rescue will dedicate its new fire rescue boat at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Longboat Key Club Moorings, 2630 Harbourside Drive.

The new boat is a 33-foot WorldCat with dual 300 HP motors that will be used to mitigate emergencies on Key waters. The department will recognize WorldCat and ACE Boatlifts for their support of the project. For information, call 316-1944.
