With the change in season comes a change in plants at Joan M. Durante Park. Town workers have just planted bright-pink periwinkles around the park entrance sign. In the next few weeks, the plants will flourish and create a solid mass of blossoms.
And, although fall has arrived, the park’s rose garden is still in bloom. Blossoms are sparse, but still bright and beautiful. Be sure to take a look. Soon, they’ll be gone, and we’ll have to wait until spring.
