On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Longboat Key Fire Rescue firefighter/paramedics headed to the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s pool for the morning. Then, they hit up the beach at Overlook Park. No…Fire Rescue work is no day at the beach. The firefighter/paramedics were doing water-rescue training in the pool. At the beach, they followed up with a drill using the department’s fireboat. Training will continue Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 24.
