Longboat Key Police Deputy Chief Martin Sharkey celebrated the big 5-0 Tuesday, Aug. 25. As of Tuesday, Sharkey, who has been a Longboat Key police officer since March 1981, wasn’t planning on any big celebrations — a low-key drink with his squad.
The night before, he had dinner with his daughter, Alexandra, 18, and his girlfriend.
And Sharkey’s big present to himself: a silver Toyota 4Runner. He’s currently finalizing the details. And Sharkey’s big present to himself: a silver Toyota 4Runner. He’s currently finalizing the details.
