… but no more birthday parties.” That’s the wish of long-time Longboat Key lady Doris Kaplan. So a week after the actual date of her natal anniversary, she lunched quietly at Michael’s On East with two friends-of-long-duration: Joy Server and Renée Sheade. This is a tradition that goes back a long, long time. According to Mrs. Sheade, the ladies have been lunching together since 1984.
