Nine-year-old golden retriever, Eli, was reunited with his owner, Ellen Haft, after having been accidentally locked in a garage in his Lands End neighborhood. Eli had gotten into a garage of a neighbor’s home and was stuck inside until the owner of the house, Vice Mayor Bob Siekmann, returned from dinner. Haft said she is grateful to all of her friends and neighbors who assisted her in searching for Eli.
Said Haft of her furry companion, “Was he ever one happy dog to see me again!”
