The nine granddaughters of Vince and Marie DeLisi have gone in different directions:
There are two medical professionals, one lawyer, one who is finishing her Ph.D. in linguistics, one fashion designer, one who is learning the hotel business, one who is working on a master’s degree in social work, one physical therapy student and one high school student.
But, once a year, they all come back to the same place: Longboat Key.
The family held its 26th annual reunion during the last week in May at Casa del Mar.
The DeLisi family now includes three great-grandchildren — two of whom are boys.
