Michelle Donato, daughter of Mary and John Donato, of Longboat Key, was honored with three Platinum Awards at the May 1 to May 3 Showstoppers dance competition, in Lakeland. The awards were given for her jazz solo to the song of “Fever” and two team numbers for ballet and lyrical. Donato is a member of Jayde Howard’s Dance Legacy, which is a dance company made up of elite dancers who compete and perform locally and nationally. The dancers are directed by Jayde Howard and Justine Coulon.
Donato is also a member of the Southeast High School Nolettes Dance Team.
