The Longboat Observer can now add “matchmaker” to its list of accomplishments. Al Tripodi, a member of the Longboat Key Public Tennis Center, called fellow tennis enthusiast Fran Harris after seeing her November “Player of the Week” article that ran in The Observer.
The two have been dating for about six months and were spotted together on the sidelines at the recent Public Tennis Center’s Fidelity Investments Senior Doubles Tournament in April.
