The Longboat Island Chapel’s board of directors threw an appreciation party Tuesday, April 16, for Lord’s Warehouse volunteers that included a sweet treat: a thank-you cake decorated with white frosting, spring flowers and the message, “Thank you Lord’s Warehouse volunteers.”
Started in 1996, the Lord’s Warehouse is a consignment store stocked with clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, books and housewares galore. Its proceeds fund chapel programs and ministries that benefit charities throughout Sarasota, Bradenton and Longboat Key.
