Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian members presented a check from the proceeds of their recent Missions Fundraising Sale to Patrick Carnegie, president and CEO of the United Community Centers of Bradenton. They raised nearly $15,000 from the sale to spend on mission projects, and one-third of the proceeds went to the Reading Buddy Program at the United Community Centers to support at-risk youth and their families with educational and prevention programs.
