Mote’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital received a patient unlike any it has ever helped. Stanley, the 3.5-inch-long turtle, was rescued from a canal in Marco Island. Typically, a turtle at this stage in life would be found far offshore, but Stanley was left behind for some reason. The turtle caretakers will continue caring for Stanley until he can be released.
