To combat rising printing costs, the Longboat Observer is asking for help from its readers. To cut down on costs, we are looking for volunteer delivery drivers who are available between the hours of 7 and 11 a.m. Wednesdays. The only stipulation is that each driver must drive a red car (in Observer red, please) and be willing to have your car sport an Observer wrap promoting the paper at all times. Convertibles are preferred for ease in tossing papers. Interested drivers should meet at noon April 1, at the Longboat Observer office, 5570 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
