+ Longboat ladies share Simmons College connection
When the Simmons College Club of Southwest Florida held its winter meeting Feb. 14 at the Polo Grill & Bar, in Lakewood Ranch, at least nine Longboat Key residents were in attendance, including current club President Marion Levine and past President Bobbie Banan.
Simmons College assistant professor Saher Selod spoke about “Collateral Damage: The De-Americanization of Muslim Americans After 9/11.”
The club has established an endowed scholarship for a student living in Florida. For scholarship information, contact Levine at firstname.lastname@example.org.
