Charlie Robinson, the winner of the first Mike Royko’s Rib Challenge in 1982 in Chicago went on to fame and fortune. So, what’s next for the chefs in the Longboat Key Public Tennis Center’s first Rib Fest? That is yet to be seen — and tasted. But one chef’s secret ingredient was incorrectly reported in last week’s issue of The Longboat Observer. Milan Adrian uses a chili-garlic sauce derived from Robinson’s award-winning blend.
